Affairs Magazine caught up with America’s favorite ghost hunter, Aaron Goodwin at Chicago’s Comic Con 2011. Aaron is part of the ghost hunting team on The Travel Channels hit show Ghost Adventures. We hung out over at Adams Artbox with Adam W. Michaels, the creator of Aaron’s ‘nightmare’ paintings. Meeting some ghost adventures fans and witnessing Aaron interact with them was definitely one of my weekend highlights.
Between Aaron’s sweet demeanor, and Adam’s amazing talents, the booth was beaming with energy. We asked the questions you get the answers.
AM: So, why ghost hunting?
AG: Why ghost hunting? I was kinda forced into it. I’ve known Nick for a long time, and him & I had been working on projects together for 12 years. So, when he teamed up with Zak he asked me to help him out. I helped shoot the project…then became part of it.
AM: How has your career Affected your life?AG: It’s flipped it upside down. before I didn’t think twice about ghosts, and now they follow me everywhere, they live with me, they pretty much won’t leave me alone. It’s changed my life dramatically.
AM: What would you be doing if you weren’t ghost hunting?AG: I would be making movies, I used to make films and tv shows. Putting all my money into it, just thousands of dollars investing into producing. If I wasnt doing this I would probably have a movie out right now. That’s really my passion.
AM: What was your first job?
AG: Mowing lawns. I would make bank charging like $30.00 a lawn. I was good too!
Michelle-WHAT?!
AG: yeah I was a good negotiator!
